SUNGLASSES

You'll find a great selection of sunglasses at Sercombe and Matheson Opticians. Wellington has a lot of sunshine hours and our UV levels are high, so if you don't own a good pair of sunglasses it's time to rectify this.

Adidas and Maui Jim are our biggest  single ranges. Adidas sunglasses feature lightweight wrap-style frames and they're particularly good for sportspeople and cyclists. Prescription lens inserts are available for some of their models. Maui Jim are high-spec quality glasses which have polarised lenses, mirror coatings and anti-reflection coatings. We also stock sunglasses from CK, Bill Bass, Nautica, Lacoste, Guess, Oroton, Ascot and Svarovski.

We can put prescription lenses into most of our sunglass frames and they can be tinted exactly the same colour as the  original non-prescription lenses. Prescription polarised lenses are available ( and yes, in bifocal and mulifocals too ) and Maui Jim makes prescription versions of their unique sunglass lenses.

Other options for glasses wearers include made to measure sunglass clip-ons to wear with your existing glasses or tinted fitovers to wear over the top. Come in and see  us -  we're sure  we can find you something to suit  and we'll adjust them so they fit perfectly.
