Roger Sercombe, Dispensing Optician Roger started work in what was then his parents' business in 1987 and has been here ever since, qualifying as a Dispensing Optician in 1991. Roger really enjoys advising about frames and lenses - read more on his Advice page - but he finds delivering the finished product especially rewarding. Outside work his energies are channelled into fatherhood, his Nintendo Wii and his mountain bike. |

Anne has a Bachelor of Optometry from Auckland University, which she got in 1986. She completed Auckland University's post-graduate Programme in Ocular Therapeutics in 2004 which means she can prescribe a range of medications for eye conditions. She finds this very satisying, particularly for managing contact lens patients who may be struggling with allergies or infections. Anne thinks the film festival is the highlight of the Wellington winter, and likes to swim outdoors in the summer. Boardgames are a year-round enthusiasm. email: anne@opticians.co.nz |

Natalie Beardsworth, Optometrist Already a qualified Dispensing Optician, Natalie did her optometry degree at the University of Cardiff in Wales, finishing in 2002. She's worked in the UK, Australia and the USA and has been in New Zealand since 2004. She has a special interest in fitting rigid contact lenses, and in low vision services. She thinks Wellington is the best place in the world to live. Natalie is currently on maternity leave, and will be back at work in October 2012 email:natalie@opticians.co.nz |

Jason Horgan, Dispensing Optician Jason qualified as a Dispensing Optician in Christchurch in 1998 and moved to Wellington in 2004 which he thinks is a good thing and so do we! Jason is a member of the continuing education committee of the Association of Dispensing Opticians. He's an avid mountain biker and enjoys Wellington's steep hills, which is ideal considering he owns a house with a view up a goat track in beautiful Island Bay. Renovating the house occupies any spare time and money not consumed by holidays in Thailand. |

Jill has a varied background with experience in MYOB accounting, admin/reception, and aerobics instruction but is excited to now be involved in the eyecare business. Jill and her partner are avid followers of soccer, their sons' teams in particular. Becoming grandparents in 2009 to little Zak has been a great highlight and Jill hopes there will be many more grandchildren to keep her young. (no pressure, boys!) |
